Hongyi Xu

I am a Finance PhD student at the Stockholm School of Economics. My research interests are in corporate finance and financial intermediaries.

My current research studies how information and financial markets shape corporate decisions, including insider trading regulation, blockholder governance, and share repurchases.

I grew up in Hangzhou, China. Before joining SSE, I completed a Bachelor of Finance (Honours) at the Australian National University, where I received the University Medal.
