Hongyi Xu

I am a Finance PhD student at the Stockholm School of Economics. My research interests are in corporate finance, corporate governance, and information in capital markets.

My job market paper studies how expected future cash flows affect firms' debt capacity and financing decisions.

I grew up in Hangzhou, China. Before joining SSE, I obtained Bachelor of Finance (Honours) at the Australian National University, where I received the University Medal.

Research interests: Corporate Finance, Corporate Debt, Corporate Governance, Institutional Investor
